  In the name of God Amen the twentieth daie of September Anno Dom 1635 I William Coe of Rotherfield in the Countie of Sussex yeoman being sicke of bodie but of good and pfect memorie praised be God therefore doe make and ordayne this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge (that is to saie). First I commend my soule into the hands of Almightie God my maker and redeemer hoping assuredlie through the meritts of Christ my Saviour to have free pardon and remisscon of all my sinnes and to be made a ptaker of life everlasting. And my bodie to the earth to be buried at the discrecionof my executrixe hereafter mentioned. Item I will unto Patience my daughter the nowe wife of Thomas Moores tenne pownde. Item I will unto Thomas Moores their sonne other tenn pownds.
