    In the name of God Amen. I Edward Collier of Witney in the County of Oxford Tailor being in a good state of Health and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding and considering the great uncertainty of my so continuing and of this mortal life. do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say. First I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid satisfied and discharged. Also I give and devise unto my loving wife Ann all that Messuage or Tenement and premises with the Appertances situate and being on the East side of the High Street in Witney aforesaid now in the tenure or occupation of Richard Castell adjoining to the messuage or tenement wherein I now dwell to hold to my said wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the said messuage or tenement and premises with the appertances unto my daughter Jane and her heirs forever. Also I give and devise to my said wife all that my Close and inclosed Ground situate and being in Witney aforesaid which I lately bought and purchased of Mr. Morris to hold to my said wife and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the said Close and inclosed ground with the appertances unto my grandson William son of William Collier and his heirs forever. Also I give and devise to my son William Collier all that Messuage and Tenement and premises with the appertances situate and being on the East side of the High Street in Witney aforesaid wherein I now dwell to hold to my said son William and his heirs forever. Also I give and devise to my said son William all those several Messuages or Tenements with the garden Ground and Appertances situate and being in or near adjoining to a certain lane in Witney aforesaid called the Mill Lane and which I lately bought and purchased of the said Mr. Morris to hold to my said son William for and during the term of his natural life and from and immediately after his decease I give and devise the said last mentioned several Messuages or Tenements and garden Ground with the appertances unto my grandson Stephen Collier his heirs and assigns forever. I give to my daughter Mary wife of George Wright the sun of fifty pounds to be paid her within one year next after my decease by my executors hereafter named. Also I give and bequeath to my said daughter Jane the sum of fifty pounds to be paid her by my executors hereinafter named within one year next after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my son Stephen the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to my son Stephen by my executors hereinafter named within one year next after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my son Edward the sum of five pounds to be paid to him within one year next after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my grandson Debden Wright the sum of fifty pounds to be paid to him my said grandson Debden on his attaining the age of twenty one years and I do hereby require and direct my executors hereinafter named to put and place the said sum of fifty pounds at interest and from time to time pay and apply the produce towards the supplement maintenance and education of my said grandson Debden until he shall attain his said age of twenty one years. All the rest and residue of my goods chattels and estate Real and Personal I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife and my son William whom I appoint joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made In Witness whereof this said testator Edward Collier have to this my last Will contained in two sheets of paper to each sheet put my hand and seal this tenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety.
